Obituary of Angelina Raimondi

On Monday, April 28, 2020, Angelina M. Raimondi passed away. She was 100 years old. A lifelong resident of Yonkers, NY, she was born in Yonkers on January 13, 1920 to Columba Pezullo and Salvatore Tascione. Her six siblings, Anthony, Mary, Antoinette, Fiore, Sue, and Salvatore predeceased her. She married Vito T. Raimondi on April 28, 1946. They were married 57 years until his death in 2003. They had two daughters, Angela (Clark) and Joanne Raimondi. Joanne predeceased her in 2013. She attended Yonkers public schools and was employed for 22 years by the Yonkers Board of Education as a Teacher's Aide at PS #13 and later on as a Registrar in the Adult Education Program until her retirement in 1983. She was a loving and fun Grandmother to her granddaughters Andrea, Christina, and Dana; Great Grandmother to Miles and Gemma; and Mother in Law to Jeffrey Clark. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at a later date this year. In lieu of flowers, our family requests donations be sent to the Andrus Nursing Home, 185 Old Broadway, Hastings on Hudson, NY 10706, or an animal protection organization of your choice.
