Fernanda spent her young life in her cherished Spedino until she married the love of her life, Enrico, on May 5, 1957. She then began her life in the United States, living most of her life in Yonkers, NY. She made many wonderful friends and was loved by everyone in her close-knit neighborhood. She was kind to everyone she met and was always smiling. She worked for many years for the Yonkers Board of Education as a cafeteria worker where she was loved by all. Fernanda lived for her four grandchildren and loved celebrating their birthdays and being together on holidays. She was a very devoted grandmother. She loved cooking for her family, especially Sunday dinners. She especially loved summer barbeques and being among her many wonderful friends and family. One of her favorite things was celebrating her birthday at her son's annual Memorial Day Barbeque with family and friends. On May 13, 2020, in Spedino, Italy, the church bells rang for five minutes in honor of their beloved daughter, Fernanda.
