Irene Zegarelli – Moschetta 11/19/1935 – 5/17/2020 Born Irene Zegarelli on November 19, 1935 to her parents Luigi and Filippa in Ansonia a providence of Frosinone, Italy. She immigrated to the United States in 1957 with her parents and two brothers Giuseppe and Gaetano. Together they were in search for a better life. They entered through the ports of Ellis Island located in the ports of New York before settling in Yonkers New York where she remained a resident for 63 years. It was there that she would enjoy working as a seamstress for close to 30 years while also marrying her lifelong husband, Alessandro Moschetta on December 18th , 1960. Her late husband Alessandro was a lifelong owner of Lincoln Park Barbershop for over 30 years. They both enjoyed a lifetime of family gatherings, local events and being members of the Knights of Columbus. They would go on to have 3 beautiful children of their own and a growing family of grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she is survived by. Their eldest daughter Anna Moreira and grandson Joseph, Phyllis Idoni, husband Joseph and grandson Joseph III, and their youngest child Michael Moschetta, wife Tina and grandchildren, Robert, Michael, Alexandria, and great grandson Michael son of Michael and Jamary. Irene Moschetta died peacefully on May 17, 2020.
