Dr. Biagio L. Scialpi passed away peacefully on June 22, 2020. He was born in Cisternino, Italy on December 28, 1925. After retiring from a successful medical practice located at 330 Park Hill Avenue in Yonkers, NY, he served as a Medical Director for the Yonkers and Mount Vernon school districts. In addition to his passion for medicine and all things Italian, he enjoyed skiing, tennis, and watching soccer games. He is survived by his wife Anna, daughter Anna Maria Scialpi, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Michael L. Scialpi. Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Monastery Church, Shonnard Place in Yonkers on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Memorial Donations in his honor can be made to the American Heart Association or Diabetes Association.
