Obituary of Anna Zajac

Please share a memory of Anna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Anna was born in New York City on October 4, 1918. She is middle of three daughters born to her parents, Mary & John Pukalo. Anna was like a second mother to her youngest sister, Stephanie who was 14 years younger than her, as well as a good "middle sister" to Catherine; the "oldest daughter". Anna was working as a seamstress when she met her husband, Stanley Zajac, and together they had a son, Paul. The Zajac family were active members of the Ukrainian Community in Yonkers, both at SUMA Federal Credit Union and St. Michael's and regularly volunteered at the annual Ukrainian Festival that the parish sponsors. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley and her son, Paul. Anna often frequented the Hastings Senior Center where she enjoyed gathering with her friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 between the hours of 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM at Sinatra Memorial Home at 499 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers NY, 10704. A burial will take place at Mt.
