Surrounded by her loving family, Joan Clark passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer on June 30, 2020. She was born on August 25, 1941 to William Bancroft, Sr and Madeline Corsa, along with her five siblings Robert "Bosco" Bancroft (Diane), William Bancroft, Jr [predeceased] (Jean), Richard "Dickie" Bancroft [predeceased], Betty Miller [predeceased] (Harry), and Martin Bancroft [predeceased]. She married her high school sweetheart Edward "Butch" Clark, Sr on June 3, 1962. They were blessed with three children Deborah Hardy [predeceased] (Richard), Laurie Clark (Al Bueti), and Edward Clark, Jr (Patricia Leonaggeo). She enjoyed spending her time with her family, especially her grandchildren Lauren Ross, Deanna Hardy, Madeline Hardy, Brian Clark, and Stephanie Hardy who all grew up in her home and spent their days sharing breakfasts with her. Gatherings and holidays were some of her favorite times spent with her family, which included her nieces Heather, Mary, Pattie, Cindy, Donna, Tracy, and Karen, as well as nephews Chris, Robbie, David, Gary, Billy and Keith. She spent her days as a school crossing guard for the Village of Mount Kisco for forty-two years. She was also a long time member and past president of the Auxiliary to the Mutual Engine and Hose Company #1 of the Mount Kisco Fire Department. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends, and the family thanks everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.
