Elias Askarie, age 55, of Yonkers died Thursday, October 29, 2009. Mr. Askarie was born November 1, 1953 in Beirut, LEBANON the son of the late Tanios and Mary (Eldeik) Askarie. He was employed by Liberty Lines Yonkers New York as a Driver. He is survived by his beloved wife Wafa (Nesheiwat) Askarie. Father of Julianna Askarie, and Roger Askarie
Son of Mary (Eldeik) Askarie. Brother of Joumanah Askarie ,Andre Askarie and Terez Musharbash. Friends may call on Monday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7PM to 9PM and Tuesday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7PM to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:00 at Christ The Savior, 491 Palisade Avenue, Yonkers. Interment will be inMt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson.
