Sylvia E. Hernandez, a long-time resident of Yonkers, passed away on August 31, 2020 at the age of 74. She was born in Havana, Cuba and came to America at the age of 16. The daughter of the late Abelardo & Esther Hernandez, she is survived by her loving sister, Teresa Hernandez. Sylvia worked for the Exxon Mobil Company & was responsible for the relations with the company's shareholders, most importantly she was in charge of planning & executing the annual shareholder meetings. A visitation will be held at Sinatra Memorial Home (499 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY) on Saturday, September 5 from 10:00-11:00 AM. An Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery (280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, NY).
