Ruth J. Paredes – Krohn died peacefully on September 12th, 2020 at the age of 78. She was born in Norfolk, VA on August 15th, 1942 to Zion & Ruth (Riddick) Perkins. For 32 years she taught for the New York City Board of Education. Ruth was always "the teacher" who helped people in and out of the classroom. She was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, and nana.
