There has never been a time where I didn't know Helen. We grew up together on Hilburn Road and remained in touch over these many years. We spoke and shared laughs of our youth and our challenges as adults. Our last chat as recently as August. I was so saddened to hear of her passing, I just learned of it yesterday. I reached out to her in late September, and again near her birthday last week. But now I know she was not there. Helen was a bright and joy filled light to all of us who were blessed to have known her. May she rest in the hands of God. I will miss her beyond words.
