One beautiful memory I have of Carmelina was when she visited my sister Sarita’s home along with her husband. The moment she got up to dance to the songs that were playing. The happy look on her face and how much she was enjoying herself. I’ll also remember when my son, Kevin told me he knew her from when she worked at Lincoln High school. She’d always greet my son when she saw him. Just wanted to say; Carmelina, you have left us but the memories we shared with you will forever stay in our hearts.

Aunt Carmelina was always the first one up and dancing at every party❤️ She loved music, parties, and being surrounded by friends and family. We will remember her for her positive attitude, free spirit, and genuine kindness. She always made everyone feel special when they were around her. We love you and will miss you very much ❤️

I remember our first car ride together. I had XM radio tuned to classic rock. She immediately started singing while snapping her fingers. To my surprise, she knew the lyrics to just about every song that played ( The Mamas and Papas, Elton John, America, etc). She later asked me if I was familiar with the song, "In the Year 2525" we spoke a little about AI and today's world. I have so many great memories of Carmelina. The last thing she said to me was that she was happy to see Veto, Christina, Maria, Brandon and the kids all together. It brought her comfort.
Carmelina, you will always remain in our hearts!

Carmelina was a great person, who loved and cared for her family. I have great memories of her when my family and I would come over for summer BBQ’s or an impromptu visit. I also have wonderful memories of going shopping for bridesmaid dresses and Maria’s wedding gown with Carmelina. One thing I admired is that she’d never sweat the small stuff-only the things that mattered. Carmelina always loved to dance whenever there was music on.I remember her dancing at my mother’s 50th birthday party and when she come over for dinner-she’d get up from the couch to dance. She was full of life and made everyone feel comfortable in her home. She would always tell me and my family to come and visit her, she’d say “no invitation.” She was a wonderful and warm person that I’m honored to have known and spent time with. I’m glad my brother married into her wonderful family. She will be missed but I know she is happy with God in peace, smiling down and watching her family.
