Stephen "Chick" Jacobs was born and raised in Hastings-on-Hudson to Susan Collins and Stephen Jacobs Sr. on June 8th, 1930, and worked as an orchard grower for Patricia Murphy's Restaurant in Yonkers, than as a truck mechanic, and in later years as a heating and maintenance engineer at St. Joseph's Seminary in Yonkers.
Chick Jacobs enjoyed his many cats over the years and was frequently found on his boat fishing in the Long Island Sound, when he was not spending time gardening and socializing with his family at his home in Hastings.
Chick passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family at home on September 29th, 2020.
Chick leaves behind his beloved daughter and son-in-law Mary Sue and Steve Minozzi and his beloved cat "Fritz".
Chick will be truly missed and fondly remembered by all of his friends and neighbors.
