Hector Pachas- May 2, 1931- October 30, 2020
Born in Chincha, Peru. Son of Hector Pachas and Edelmira Walde. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Candida Pachas and children – Sandra Pachas Peixoto (Jose Peixoto), Sylvia Morse Pachas (John Morse), and Nelson (Shirley) Pachas.. Also survived by his sister Gladys Hucker, as well as his grandchildren and great grandchildren- Sophia Umphress, her husband Andrew Umphresss, Sabrina Peixoto, Daniel Morse Pachas, Christian Morse, Maya Pachas, and great grandchildren Sebastian and Savannah Umphress.
He went to medical school in Peru and residency in Puerto Rico. He had his pediatric medical practice on the Upper West Side of New York City for over 40 years. He proudly served the Hispanic community alongside his wife. He was very involved in the medical and humanitarian community through his many organizations. He'll be remembered as an amazing family man, fantastic friend, man of faith, pillar in the Hispanic community and a wonderful human being. He is now happily helping all in heaven and will be missed dearly forever.

Nacido en Chincha, Peru, Hijo de Hector Pachas y Edelmira Walde. Le sobreviven su esposa durante 57 anos, Candida Pachas e hijos: Sandra Pachas Peixoto (Jose Peixoto), Sylvia Morse Pachas (John Morse) y Nelson Pachas. Tambien le sobreviven su hermana Gladys Hucker, nietos: Sophia Umphress, su esposo Andrew Umphress, Sabrina Peixoto, Daniel Morse Pachas, Christian Morse, Maya Pachas, y bisnietos Sebastian y Savannah Umphress.
Estudio medicina en Peru y realizo su residencia en Puerto Rico. Tuvo su practica medica de pediatria en el Upper West Side de la ciudad de Nueva York por mas de 40 anos. Sirvio con orgullo a la comunidad hispana, junto a su esposa. Participo en la comunidad medica y humanitaria a traves de sus muchas organizaciones. Sera recordado como un hombre de familiam una persona increíble, un amigo fantastico, un hombre de fe, un pilar de la comunidad hispana y un ser humano maravilloso. Ahora esta felizmente ayudando a todos los que estan en el cielo y lo extranaremos mucho para siempre.
