Obituary of Thomas Morales

Mr. Thomas Morales, of The Bronx, passed away at Montefiore in New Rochelle, on Monday, November 2, 2020 at the age of 76. Thomas was born to parents Tomas Morales and Margarita Martinez on February 4, 1944 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He grew up as the eldest of 10 siblings: Julio, Rosa, Nelson, Raymond, Grace, Rosa, Eddie, Elva, and Janie. His Father and Mother got married on March 28, 1954 and moved to the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Thomas married Elizabeth in 1978, and the couple had two children. After his divorce in 1985, he remarried Rosa in 1986 and he had two more children until his divorce in 2009. Thomas retired after 33 years of service at Montefiore at the end of 2006. After his retirement, he continued to volunteer in the community for the next 13 years. Thomas is survived by his sons, Tiano, Joseph and Isaiah; his daughter, Jennifer; his sisters, Grace, Elba, and Janie; and three grandchildren. A private viewing of the body will be held for the family at Sinatra Memorial Home on Sunday November 8, 2020 between the hours of 2:00pm and 6:00pm. The cremation will take place on November 9, 2020. The family is grateful for all the condolences.
