NICHOLAS A. RIENZI, SR. Nicholas A. Rienzi, a lifelong Yonkers resident died peacefully at the age of 90 on Saturday, November 7, 2020. Born March 4, 1930 to the late Peter and Margaret Rienzi, Nick attended New York University and became a Professional Engineer. He worked for Westchester County Department of Environmental Facilities for 37 years retiring in 1992. Nick proudly served in the United States Army Corp. of Engineers during the Korean War. He married Theresa (Nee Mosca) on September 19, 1953, who predeceased him in 2005 after 51 wonderful years of marriage. Predeceased by his sister Lucille, Nick is survived by his sons Peter (Mary), Nick (Laurie) and Paul (Cristina) and was a beloved grandfather to ten grandchildren. He enjoyed holiday traditions with the family, as well as traveling through the States. Arrangements are Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Sinatra Funeral Home, 499 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, New York. Funeral mass on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at St. Ann's Church, Midland Avenue, Yonkers, New York with burial proceeding at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
