Vincent Robert (Vinny) Marchionni died on November 13, 2020 at his residence, Bethel Springvale Inn. He was born January 21, 1938 to Americo(Bob) and Concetta(Connie) Marchionni, life-long residents of Yonkers. He was predeceased by the love of his life, wife Lorraine "Lulu" of 55 years and his brothers, Andrew and Robert. Survived by his 4 children, Annette(Tom) Jamin of NJ, Vincent Jr.(Kerri) Marchionni of CA, Connie(Rob) Derbabian of NY, and Lorraine(Patrick) Grassmann of CA. Adored Poppy(Poppi, Popi) to his grandchildren Nicole(Justin), Lauren, Michelle(Zach), Olivia, Nicholas, Vinny, and Derrick. Vincent was a proud Veteran, having served in the Army National Guard from 1961-1962. He was a firefighter on the Yonkers Fire Department and active union member of local #628 for 28 years. He was also an active community member serving the Nepera Park Grey Oaks Neighborhood Association for many years. Vinny was dedicated to his church, St. Anthony's Nepera Park as both volunteer and usher of the 12 o'clock Sunday Mass. He will be missed by many- For the safety of all who loved him- there will not be a public visitation due to Covid-19. Family and friends are welcomed to celebrate his funeral mass at St. Anthony's Church(Nepera Park) on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM Entombment at Mount Hope Cemetery is for family only. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Vinny's name to the Wounded Warrior's Foundation.
