My condolences to the Williams family. I will miss my friend and ex co-worker. I was really hurt and I learned of his passing. I will miss his jokes telling my boss to fire me cause I don't do anything. Only a friend can do that. I remember being stuck in Yonkers after leaving Red Lobster on a cold day and had no way to get home because my SUV wouldn't start. I called Derek and he came out to give me a jump. He left his house to help me and I saw he was in his PJ's. with his coat on. Who would do that, only a friend. I went and got a new battery the next day.
I was in my car after Thanksgiving and I get a phone call, one of my ex co-workers from Castle Oil and now Sprague Energy called me and said " Derek passed away" I started crying in my car saying no that can't be. I'm still shocked and I'm going to miss him. Sleep in Peace my friend. I know I will see you again one day up in the big sky!
