Obituary of Joseph Dennis Hebert Joseph Dennis Hebert, 91 of Pawling & Yonkers, NY passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 after a brief illness. Joseph (Joe) was born August 25, 1929 in North Carolina to the late Joseph Dennis Hebert, Sr. & Elizabeth (nee Plante) Hebert. Joe was raised in North Carolina then moved to Yonkers, NY with his family so Joe's father could be employed with the Alexander Smith Carpet Shop in Yonkers. Joe worked mostly as a bus driver starting with Liberty Lines Bus now known as Westchester County Bee Line Bus Company. Joe then worked for Carey Transportation. After Joe retired from driving buses, he bought a limousine franchise with Carey Transportation. Joe liked to tell his family about all the famous people he drove either on the bus or in his limo. Joe served in the US Army during WWII from 1946 to 1947. On September 2, 1956, Joe married his wife Janet (nee) Pasanella. They were married for 32 years before divorcing. Even though they were divorce, Joe & Janet remained best friends. They spoke on the phone everyday & took trips together. Janet passed away in 2014 leaving a large void in his life as well as the family. Joe is survived by his son Joseph D. Hebert, III, a daughter Deborah Coyne, 3 grandsons, James (Stacey) Hebert, Connor Hebert & Cameron Hebert, great grandson Owen Hebert & great granddaughter Evie Hebert, a sister Elizabeth (Betty Jean) (William) Spence, many nieces & nephews. Joe is predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers Armand Hebert, Henry Hebert & Edward Hebert, 4 sisters Marie (Doris) Chwanda, Mary Jane Smith, Lillian Byrnes & Shirley Ludwigs & his son-in-law Richard Coyne. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Avenue on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 3pm-7pm. Mass of Christian Burial shall be at St. John the Baptist Church on December 31, 2020 Yonkers Avenue at 10:00 am. Followed by entombment at Mount Hope Cemetery.
