On January 13, 2021, Silvio Malandrino peacefully died in Calvary Hospital of Brain Cancer at the age of 75. Silvio is survived by his mother Emanuela residing in Gela Italy and his wife Francesca and his sons John (Heather) and Tony (Kori) and siblings Gino Malandrino, Alfredo Cabibbo, Marissa Malandrino, and Claudio Cabibbo. Silvio was born on September 24, 1945 in Gela, Italy Silvio worked for Teamsters Union Local 456 as a Master Shop Steward for over 35 years. Silvio married Francesca on October 24,1968. They were childhood friends in Gela Italy and love story grew from there as the celebrated 52 beautiful years together. They welcomed son John in 1969 and son Tony in 1975. Silvio loved to spend time with his family and cruising and vacationing with Francesca. He was a simple man who enjoyed a nice glass of wine and a smoke while sitting outside enjoying the beautiful view from his favorite chair and feeding the birds every morning. A memorial service for Silvio is scheduled for Monday January 18, from 3pm -7pm at Frank Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Ave. Yonkers NY and Tuesday January 19 at 10am will be the graveside burial ceremony at Mt Hope Cemetery, Saw Mill River Road, Yonkers, NY.
