Obituary of Lucia Rueda

Mrs. Lucia Rueda was born in Managua, Nicaragua on January 14, 1937.  She was the youngest child born to Filiberto Aviles and Lucia Arguello de Aviles.  Lucia was predeceased by her loving husband; Francisco Rueda Sr. , her son; Marvin Rueda and her siblings; Carlota, Graciela, Filiberto and Hugo.

Lucia was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.  She enjoyed spending her time in her garden and tending to her many beautiful plants and flowers.  She was fond of knitting, the excitement and sounds of the casino slot machines she enjoyed playing and the companionship of her beloved parrot; Coco. 

 “She’s such a sweetie”, is what was often said of Lucia once you spent time with her. The love, friendship and support she gave were infinite and selfless. 

Her children, family and friends will miss her dearly. 

Lucia is survived by her children; Lucia, Judith, Fred and Carol.  Grandchildren; Jennifer, Melissa, Darren, Derek, Courtney and Anthony. Great-Grandchildren; Dominic, Danica, Teddy, Dean and Lucas as well as her many family members and dear friends.
