Obituary of Gaetano Gambardella

Gaetano (Thomas) Gambardella Jr., a lifelong resident of Yonkers was reunited with his beloved wife, Antoinette on February 22, 2021 at the age of 94. He was born on January 18, 1927 to Gaetano and Agnes (Forte) Gambardella Sr. Tom was the second generation owner of Gambardella Limousine Service which was established in 1919 on Park Hill Avenue. It is the oldest family-owned limousine company in New York State. For many years the company serviced local funeral homes and drove countless brides on their wedding day. Tommy was always known as a meticulous caretaker of his cars and his attention to detail. An avid collector of classic cars, he was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, the Professional Car Society and a former member of the St. Donato Society. He also served as a deputy marshall for the Columbus Day celebration in 2008. Beloved father of Tommy (Patrice) Gambardella of Port Chester, Anthony (Joann) Gambardella of Yonkers, Joseph Gambardella of New York City. Loving brother of Antoinette Marinelli. Loving Grandfather of Matthew, Tyler, Giovanna, Justin and Anthony (AJ).  He will be dearly missed by all, especially by his best friend and son, Anthony.
