Michele Vernagallo, a Bronx native, passed away on February 24, 2021, at the age of 87.
Michele, born in Corleone, Sicily, immigrated to the United States in 1966 with his wife Antonina and their daughter Lina. Here, Michele and Antonina had their second daughter, Dina. Years later, Michele became a grandfather to Peter and Michael and shortly after, moved to Yonkers. He made a beautiful life for himself and his family. Michele is survived by his daughters, Lina and her husband Pat, Dina and her husband Lenny, and his two grandchildren Peter and Michael. He was deeply loved by his family and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
