Obituary of Migdalia Ortiz

Please share a memory of Migdalia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
A loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend...the list of roles she played in life can go on and on. Born in Rio Piedras our confidant was 1 of 6 wonderful kids. She married Rafael and had 3 children. Widowed at the young age of 28 then began her life in New York shortly after. Grandkids came along the way which opened the chapter of becoming a grandmother. She was very dedicated in raising her family and being the rock for her family. We all know that she welcomed everyone into her home with open arms...I'm sure I've seen all of you at least once sleeping in her home. She enjoyed her work at All County Bus Company as she continued to care for the children of others. As the years went by she suffered the loss of her son Jesus aka Chuito. She as well took care of her mother in law right before her passing. She was able to meet her first 2 great grandkids. Migdalia lived a beautiful life with a lot of hard work she put into maintaining it. Her soul continues to live on in the kingdom of heaven where she has joined the rest of our bodiless family. Reunited with the love of her life and son who we all hold close to our hearts. May she rest in peace and God bless her beautiful soul.
