Obituary of Richard Mascia

Richard J. Mascia, 73, of Riverdale, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2021 surrounded by the love of his family at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx.

Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, to the late John and Josephine Mascia. His family was always his first priority. A brilliant man who will be cherished and never forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his three siblings, Barbara, John and Robert.

Surviving Richard are his love Susan Rosino, his loving daughters, Barbara Dolan (Mascia) and husband John, and Dawn Mascia, and his cherished grandchildren, Nicole (and Chris), Johnny, Alexis, and Richard, as well as his extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc. at 499 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Friday, March 19, 2021 at St. John the Baptist in Yonkers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made in Richard's memory to Calvary Hospital, 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx, NY 10461, Attn: The Calvary Fund c/o Richard Mascia.
