Dominick Michael Santomassimo of Yonkers, NY passed away on Sunday, March 21st 2021 at the age of 78. Dominick was born on September 29th, 1942. He was the oldest of 3 sons born to Frank and Dolores (LoPiano) Santomassimo. Dominick and his two brothers Frank Jr. and the late Stephen Santomassimo were born and raised in the Morris Park section of the Bronx, NY. Dominick graduated Christopher Columbus High School in 1958. Soon after he joined the United States Navy and proudly served aboard the U.S.S. Saratoga. While serving the country he met Carol Blanche Kolachik of Yonkers, NY and they were married April 11th, 1964. He started his career at Consolidated Edison Company of New York where he worked over 40 years until his retirement. Dominick enjoyed his retirement spending time with his family. A nice cigar and a glass of wine while watching the yankees on tv with his beloved son David was a perfect day for Dominick. He was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Dominick Council of Hawthorne, NY. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday March 24th, 2021 from 3 to 7 pm at Sinatra Memorial Home. 499 Yonkers ave, Yonkers, NY 10704
