Obituary of Annette M. Fortuna

Annette M. Fortuna, age 88 passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021. She was born on April 23, 1932. A lifelong resident of Yonkers, NY, she attended all Yonkers Public Schools and graduated Commerce HS with a Business degree. "Netta", as she was affectionately known, married the love of her life, Frank 67 years ago. Netta will always be remembered for her vibrant personality and fun-loving spirit. She enjoyed music and dancing, and spending time with her husband and friends. She loved the beach and always sat in the driver's seat. She was the youngest of three children born to Vincent "Jimmy" Malacarne and Assunta "Susie" SanMartino Malacarne. She is predeceased by her siblings. Maurice and Andrew Malacarne. She is survived by her beloved husband Frank A Fortuna Sr. She was the devoted Mother of Julia Fortuna Bonura and Frank A. Fortuna Jr. (Maureen). She was the proud Grandmother of Joseph Bonura (Jennifer), Michael Bonura (Aimee), and James Bonura (Jessica). She was the loving Great Grandmother of Mikey, Jax, Jimmy, Jonny, and Julia. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
