STEVEN A. RIDZIK, "RIZ" a lifelong Yonkers NY resident, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021, at age 59. Steve was born and raised in Yonkers. He was a graduate of Gorton High School, where he was a star athlete and prided himself on his love of sports. He worked for the City of Yonkers DPW until his retirement just 3 years ago. Devoted father of Stephanie (Salim) and Dakota (Cassandra). Proud grandfather of Greyson, Savannah and Christopher. He also leaves behind, his loving life partner , "wife", Lisa Bekesy, and her children, Steve (Karen) and Mike. Steven was predeceased by his parents, Andrew H. and Constance A. (Minor) Ridzik and his brother, Andrew "Drew" Ridzik. He was a beloved father, grandfather and friend. Avid lover of sports, especially golfing with his son and life partner, Lisa. He truly enjoyed anything that involved being with his children, grandchildren and friends. Steve was so proud to be the father of his two children and the most proud grandfather to his grandchildren. He was known for his bold personality and ability to make almost everyone around him laugh or smile. He will be remembered for his kindness and all the love he shared. Visitation at Community Home for Funerals, 601 Yonkers Ave on Thursday, April 8, 2021, from 3PM to 8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 9, 202, in St. Casimir's Church, at 11AM. Interment is Private.
