I’ve been devastated for the last few days after losing you. I remember you told me “you’re here for me when I’m happy and when I’m sad, I’m always with you”. That has been with me since I was little and I’ll never forget it. I plan on telling future generations your stories. They meant a lot to me and had a big impact on my life. You were my best friend and I love you. Rest easy buddy. -Liz

Saying Good-Bye is never easy, but I could not let you go without letting you know how important you are to me. I know it will not be easy every time I step out of my house and will never see you by your house. I came into your family a stranger but between you and Janet that quickly changed you made me feel very welcomed. I would always hear you tell the kids it has been an honor being your grandfather but today I tell you with tears in my eyes and a heavy heart It has been an honor being your Daughter in Law. Papa, I miss you so much and I hope you are at peace. You were a ray of sunshine and you were my best friend. You always had faith in Liz, Kylie, Ryan, Katie, and I. It meant so much to always have you in my corner and your stories live through your family/ friends. I cannot believe you are gone and it’s going to take time to adjust to my new normal.
