Aniello Manganelli was born in the year 1929 in Novi Velia, Salerno, Italy to Felice and Filomena (Guzzo) Manganelli. He went to be with the Lord April, 14, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Violanda (Tortorella), children; Chiarina Guida (Angelo), Filomena Manganiello, Felice Manganelli (Maria) and Antonio aka Tony (Marina, predeceased) Manganelli. He was most proud of his grandchildren; Pasquale (Danielle), Christina (Ken), Paola, (Mike), Loredana, David, Lisa, Angelo (Audra) Diana (Brad), and his namesake, Aniello. The joy of his life, his great grandchildren; Aurora, Abrial, Hunter, Angelo, Vittoria, Bradley, Gianni, Jackson, Ella, Dominic, Sabrina, Giorgio And Luca. He leaves behind many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws along with numerous nieces and nephews, which he adored.
Aniello was the second youngest of seven children, all predeceased. As a youngster he had to leave school at an early age to help the family with their farm. Aniello worked side by side with his father and brothers on the farm until he got an opportunity to go to Germany for work. He worked there for 7 years then returned home, to Italy, to be with his family. In 1969 he was most fortunate to come to America, the "land of opportunity" as he would say. He was a people person who enjoyed spending time with his buddies, playing cards at the Italian club. Aniello loved life. He was most proud when he saw the "progress" his family made in their education, livelihood or business.
Aniello was happiest being around his table, in his humble home, surrounded by his whole family and lots of food and his homemade wine. We raise a glass to you, may you Rest In Peace in heaven.
