Katie, my dear and wonderful friend, words can never express what an extraordinary person you were to so many, especially in our autism community. You have left your mark in the most wonderfully profound way that will impact not only the lives of people on the spectrum, but all of us for years to come. Thank you for your endless love, support and friendship. You with be in our hearts forever.

Katie was a true friend. Even if we hadn't connected over some time, we would pick up where we left off and always understood each other. Our love of life, our children and families... and of course, raising children with autism...was a bond I will always cherish and greatly miss.
Katie, you raised three beautiful sons and you always had a smile on your face. Your kindness and warmth came through, your enthusiasm was infectious.
You will be missed on this earth, but surely the heavens are welcoming their new angel.
Much love and deepest sympathies to your family

Katie was the most remarkable woman, wife and mother I have ever met. Giving birth to identical triplet boys with autism, Katie was determined to search for the cause and continued that research until satisfied that she had found and believed that a drug embedded in vaccines attributed to their medical journey. But she didn’t stop there. She set up a classroom in her home where she continued their learning, even after a full day of school for the boys. She fought gallantly, respectfully and compassionately to insure the school district was doing their part to include the boys in every area of general education possible, determined they would learn to speak, read, write and graduate from high school and go on to college. Before their high school graduation, however, she was diagnosed with cancer and a new battle emerged, but she never gave up; not for a minute. She continued encouraging and fostering her boys’ self-reliance, alongside her husband, Doug. She knew she needed to fight Cancer so that she could see them walk across the Fox Lane Stage and receive their diplomas. She was also a strong advocate and voice for autism, rallying around others whose children were also learning to navigate two worlds. Fortunately, she was able to see her dreams and her sons’ dreams come true with two in college and one in a tech program. Her tenacity and deep love for her children will live on in them as they traverse their next chapters in life. Katie Weisman was a jewel, a bright star and a true crusader for autism.
