From your Grandchildren… On May 16th, 2021, heaven gained an angel. One of the strongest women in our lives, as she lived a long healthy 90 years. You were like a mother to us all as you have taken care of everyone who has stepped foot in your house. The countless memories we have had together will always be remembered, but it was the simple things you did for your family and friends that will always be cherished. Over the last 28 years, you have been a loving grandmother to the four of us. You bestowed your traditions and values onto us which included always having a third or fourth serving of pasta because one was never enough and if dad ever said no just go to grandma. You opened your home to all, as long as they tried all of the food, everyone was always welcomed back. You were a woman of a few words, which were mostly in Italian but if we listened closely what you said always had a message. We can go on and on with the memories, but we can say the one thing that we will miss the most is the smile you had on your face whenever you saw us. We would walk through the doors and you were first person we saw sitting in the porch. We immediately would go up to you and get the biggest kiss and hug in the world. We will forever miss moments like that. You played a big role in making us the men and women we are today. You didn't have a bad bone in your body, you were one of most caring and loving people we had in our lives. When you smiled, we smiled, when you laughed, we laughed. We know you are in a better place now with Nonno. We will forever love and miss our guardian Angel. Until we meet again. Love, Joseph, Stefanie, David and Matteo P.S. We can still hear your slipper zip by and the smell of English muffins with butter and sugar.
