Obituary of John A. Donadio
Please share a memory of John to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
John Donadio, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at the age of 76. John, who was loved and friended by so many, was preceded in death by his wife Annette of 49 years, and his mother and father Adeline and Jack Donadio of Yonkers.
He is survived by his daughters Debbie (Thomas) and Keri (Bobby), his three grandchildren, Courtney, Frankie and Jillian, his sister, Joanne Howe, and brother Anthony Donadio (Denise).
John was a huge family man and always loved being around his aunts and uncles, all his cousins and nieces/nephews. Until this day he would call his best friend and reminisce about the 'hill' and all the crazy things they did at work. Talking to "Whip" was the highlight of many days.
John was a hard-working, dedicated man that did any and everything for his family. He was a Teamster (Local 456) and worked for Nigro Bros. construction for over 30 years. He drove a tractor trailer for most of those years before going to work in the Asphalt plant.
After retirement, John loved spending time at his home -which he was so proud of. He was the handiest of men who could fix anything. He was a faithful gym goer where he made friends that he held near and dear to his heart. They kept him going day in and day out- breakfast at Burger King, car shows, fixing things, building things, the list goes on and on.
John was truly blessed throughout his life with family and friends who will miss him terribly. He is now with his true love
