Our heartfelt condolences to the Manzi family. Mike was a long time friend of my father, Gregory R. Paravati, who passed away in May, 1985. They met while working together on the NYFD. My dad had been a widower since 1957, when our mother passed away. He considered Mike such a good friend. I can remember my Dad taking my sister, Linda and I to visit the Manzi’s at their then new home on Faraway Rd. in Armonk. Then when I was serving in the Air Force in Korea in 1970, Mike invited my father, my wife(Janet) and our two children for a visit and she remembers Mike taking my dad and our two year old son out for an outing on his boat.
