Obituary of Philip J. Dinanzio

Philip J. Dinanzio, Jr. 74, passed away Sunday, July 4th with his family by his side. He was the son of the late Santina (Gentile) Dinanzio & Philip J. Dinanzio Sr. Born in Yonkers, NY on January 6th, 1947, Philip was a graduate of Mount Saint Michael Academy and the City College of New York, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. Philip worked for the City of New York and upon retirement took care of all his grandchildren, affectionately known as "Pop-o". Philip had an avid interest in politics, Rock 'n Roll music, Sci-Fi, horror movies, books and authors such as H.P. Lovecraft and Robert E. Howard. He is survived by his wife, Marie (Palazzo) Dinanzio, who has been a rock throughout his life journey. He is also survived by his children Christopher, Joseph (Ravina Hydar) and Dianna (Michael Serendensky), as well as all of his grandchildren Gianna, Sabrina, Michael Jr, Laila, Adriana and Talieya. He is also survived by his brother, James Dinanzio, sister, Laurine (Dinanzio) Gaete and brother-in-law John Gaete. Philip was taken from us all too soon, but he will never be forgotten.
