Michael P. Coyle of Bronxville, NY passed away with his family by his side on August 12, 2021 after his long and courageous battle with cancer. Michael was 79, born in the Bronx on January 18, 1942. He was a dedicated hard-working man. He was the owner of M&E Florist, where his creativity & talent shined as a gifted floral designer. He also worked for many years as a chef & then worked in the field of engineering & maintenance/hospitality services on Park Avenue in New York City. In his retirement, Michael always wanted to give back and help others. Michael & his wife, Arlene volunteered at the Cabrini Nursing Home, providing support, care & entertainment for the patients (bingo, singing, dancing and transporting patients to & from rooms) for over 12 years. Michael & Arlene also volunteered at Lawrence Hospital creating the Lawrence Christmas Tree, in which they lovingly decorated to bring joy to all. Michael was a devoted husband of 50 years to his wife, Arlene Coyle. Mike and Arlene were childhood sweethearts and were inseparable, they had a very special love, always hand in hand & side by side, they are reunited now & remain eternal. Michael was also a loving father to 4 children, Michael, Phillip, Christine & Michelle and a proud grandfather (Poppy) of 8 & great-grandfather of 7. Michael will always be remembered for his huge heart of gold, his kindness to others, his unique humor, love of the Yankees & his genuine spirit. He was deeply loved & will be greatly missed.
