Gerry Alfred Segreti, 53, of Riverdale, New York, passed away peacefully on August 15th, 2021 in Valhalla, New York. At the age of 20 years old, Gerry Alfred was involved in a motor vehicle accident, which left him a paraplegic for the majority of his adult life. For 33 years, he courageously battled multiple illnesses stemming from his motor vehicle accident, and persevered to live life as an active paraplegic.
Gerry Alfred was born in New York City, New York on December 21st, 1967, to the proud parents of Margaret Ann and the late Pasquale Segreti. He is a graduate of St. Margaret of Cortona School, John F. Kennedy High School, and the College of Mount Saint Vincent, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, concentrating in Liberal Arts & Communications.
Gerry Alfred is survived by his mother Margaret Ann, his younger brother Joseph Vincent Segreti, sister in law Nicole Catherine Francis-Segreti, as well as many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Gerry Alfred will always be remembered for his blonde hair and blue eyes, his unique sense of humor, his love of Music, Trains, History, Television and Sports Entertainment (wrestling). Some of his favorite television shows were I Love Lucy, The Honeymooners, MASH, WWE RAW & Smackdown, and Jeopardy with the late Alex Trebek.
Gerry Alfred lived every day of his life to the best of his ability, traveling throughout the Bronx, Manhattan, and Westchester. Besides frequent visits to Armani in NYC, as well as the Former Carnegie Deli for some Pastrami, Corned Beef, and Brisket, Macy's in Cross County was a second home to him, as he dressed to impress with his designer jeans and sneakers, and his fascination of Ralph Lauren, Armani, and Tommy Hilfiger designer wear.
He was loved by many, and will be deeply missed by his family and his friends.
