Agnes B Mac Donald, age 95 passed away peacefully August 14, 2021 in Rye Brook, NY. She was born on December 5, 1925 in White Plains, NY, where she also attended school. After school she became a hairdresser and worked at Best and Company in New York City. Among her many clients was the famous American artist and singer Ethel Merman. In 1951, she married Ralph L. Mac Donald, a long time resident of Armonk, NY, where she lived for over 70 years. There she and her husband raised 4 children, Ralph Jr., Bruce, Lark and Sandra. Agnes was a devoted mother and enjoyed travel, spending time at her summer home in Millbrook, NY, volunteering at a local hospital and the Greenwich Audubon Center. Her favorite hobby was making and teaching ceramics and was known for her hand painted porcelain figurines. She also spent many hours attending her daughters horseback riding lessons and competitions. In her later years she was able to stay in her own home with the help of Visiting Angels and her final days were spent at King Street Rehab with family and caring companions. Agnes is predeceased by her husband, Ralph and her son Ralph Jr. She is survived by Ralph Jr's wife Virginia, her son Bruce Mac Donald and his wife Janet, daughters Lark Mustapich and Sandra Crabtree and 7 grandchildren and 21 great grand children.
