Obituary of Anna Petilli

It is with profound sadness and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, aunt, and dear friend Anna Petilli.  She was born on December 27, 1939 to Mary (Cito) and Nicola Grillo.  She was predeceased by her Beloved son Robert Petilli.  She was also predeceased by her brother, Sylvester M. Grillo. She is also survived by her son Ronald Petilli of Yonkers, N.Y.  

Anna graduated from Roosevelt High School in the Bronx,  N.Y.  She has been a resident of Yonkers, N.Y. for 55 years.  She was employed by Alexander’s Department Store for 15 years.  Most recently she was an employee of Buy Buy Baby in Scarsdale, N.Y.  

Anna was a dear friend to many.  She loved Broadway shows, music, fun times and laughter.  She will be missed most importantly by her beloved son Ronald Petilli.  

Visitation will be on Monday August 30, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Community Home for Funerals, 601 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, N.Y.  Mass will be held on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021 at St. Eugene’s Church at 10:00 a.m.  Followed by services at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, N.Y. 10530.
