Obituary of Geraldine C. Young

It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Geraldine Young announces her passing on September 20, 2021, at the age of 99. Geraldine passed away peacefully with family by her side at her home in Mount Kisco, NY.

Geraldine was born in North Tarrytown, NY on December 29, 1921 to Catherine (Kitty) and Anthony R. Speno. She married the love of her life, Stanley G. Young, on May 8, 1945.

Geraldine is survived by her two siblings, Kay Sutcliffe and Anthony Speno (Ann Speno); her three children, Stanley G. Young, Kathleen Young and Nancy Taylor; her seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be celebrated October 12 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Of Assisi Roman Catholic Church located at 2 Green Street, Mt. Kisco NY 10549. Directly following the funeral, all are welcome to join us at Le Jardin Du Roi (95 King St. Chappaqua) to raise a glass to Gerry and celebrate her 100 years of life.
