Kejon Hassan Burks was born on July 29th, 1977 to Yvonne Burks-Goodalle and Ford Guinyard at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, NY.
Kejon Burks graduated from Saunders High School in 1997 where he exceled as the school's starting quarterback. He was an amazing athlete who lit up the football field helping him gain popularity throughout Westchester.
Post high school, Kejon enjoyed being around the local music scene in Yonkers, NY and went on to start a modeling career. He would go on to make a few appearances in music videos and in the independent film titled My Brother.
Kejon is survived by his stepdaughters Madison and Izabella Liberty, his siblings Jake Lamar, Kirk Douglas, Hope "Regina" Burks, Marcella Cochran, Denise Guinyard, Latasha Roberts, Miguel Cochran (Tisha) and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins who all loved him dearly.
Kejon moves on to join his mother Yvonne Burks-Goodalle; father Ford Guinyard; son KaRon Hassan Burks and his sisters Antoinette Maria Burks, and Regina "Monique" Guinyard-Richardson. Kejon will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Kisco, NY on Thursday, October 14th.
Kejon was a person full of love and joy; it was seldom that you would catch him without a smile on his face. He was outgoing, funny and an all-around people person. He was proud of his family and friends and always cherished the time he was able to spend with them.
While he is no longer with us physically, his presence and joy will always be felt
