Q: How did you meet John?
A: Today, I heard you call me! It was clear. Hey kid, you said! It caught me off guard. My heart is very heavy to learn that you have left us. I am numb.
Please know that you were always a treasure to me and will always be more than a memory.
I met JOHN in 1975. He was a “Monitor” in my high school. He had the biggest Afro, white sneakers with equally white teeth! He was extremely neat. My 16 year old crush began. Lol. We dated 7 years. He called me, “kid” and I called him everyday.
He loved his family and had a soft spot for the elderly. His grandma and Aunt Marge to name a couple. He definitely loved his mom too. His nephew Victor was his number one little man that he always had time for. They were so cute together.
John loved his mom’s spaghetti. If nothing else was going right, spaghetti made it better! Amazing.
