Obituary of Michael V. Marrone

Michael V. Marrone MD passed away on November 19th at the age of 87. Born in the Bronx, he went to medical school at the University of Bologna where he met his beautiful bride, Luisa. He went on to fulfill his dream of becoming a trauma surgeon. He was a true renaissance man having a love for life and pursuing many avenues of interest. He was a painter (oil and watercolor), skier, fisherman, played guitar and piano, enjoyed fencing, and had a love for motorized model airplane building. His love for flying encouraged him to obtain his flying license and in turn he had his own private plane. He enjoyed traveling and visited many places around the world. His knowledge on ALL subjects was boundless. As Mike used to say he had a "charmed life". Mike had beautiful children, Patricia married to John and Jimmy married to Sonya. He had amazing grandchildren, Michelle married to Loukas, Nickolaos, Michael, and Christopher. The world has lost a truly great man, husband, father, grandfather, and doctor.
