Obituary of Maureen T. Fenton

Maureen Theresa Fenton, age 68, went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2021, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She is predeceased by daughter Lisa Ahmad and survived by her two other children Yasmin Ahmad and Richard Maloney and his ex-spouse Reema Samarneh, grand children Stephanie Miller and Richard Maloney III along with her brother Michael Cerio and his spouse Theresa Cerio and predeceased by pet Stripe Maloney. She was known for her strong opinion and a knack for telling it like it is. She always told you the truth even if it was not what you wanted to hear. Her children meant the world to her, and she would do anything for them. She also had a love for animals always taking in a stray pet her son would bring home. Her favorite past time was watching reruns of Law and Order SVU. There will be a church service at The Bells of St. Mary's The Church of the Immaculate Conception 103 South Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10701 at 10:00AM on November 22, 2021. In lieu of flowers her wishes were that a donation be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
