Joseph, Paul, Shannon and Brian,
Diane was and will always be an amazingly beautiful and strong woman, a model mother, grandmother, wife, niece, neighbor, friend. I owe her gratitude from the time I was small and lived down the street and she selflessly babysat for me. I owe her gratitude for the love and affection, presence and patience she always--always had for my grandmother, Theresa. I owe her gratitude for the timesshe took me to mass when I was visiting here and there for a day. I owe her gratitude for the incredible example of love and family commitment and closeness she gave to all of us, daily.
I owe her, and you all, gratitude for the open doors and open hearts you have always had toward me.
