Obituary of Louise Nuzzi

On Friday, January 7, 2022, Louise (Sorbera) Nuzzi, loving wife and mother passed away at the age of 84. Louise was born on September 14, 1937 in the Bronx to Salvatore Sorbera and Serafina (Lanza) Sorbera. On October 22, 1961 she married the man of her dreams, Alessio Nuzzi and they were happily married for over 60 years. Together they raised four children Gino, Maria, Ralph and Serafina . She has always been a very devoted house wife and dedicated mother. Louise enjoyed living her life for her family. She would love nothing more than when the entire family would get together for the holidays and any other occasion. She loved to sing karaoke and play- ing cards with her grandchildren. She also loved listening & singing to songs from Jimmy Rosselli and other artists from when she was a young lady. Our mother was at her happiest moments when we were all together. Louise is survived by her husband Alessio Nuzzi, her 4 children Gino (his wife Marielaina), Maria (her husband Jerry), Ralph (his wife Annie) and Serafina (her husband Frank). She is also sur- vived by her 7 grandchildren Alexis, Ralph, Jordan, Christopher, Jeremy, Joseph and Isabella. She was one of three children, pre-deceased by her brother Anthony Sorbera and survived by her sister Serafina (Sorbera) Sebastiano. Services will be held at Oelker-Cox and Sinatra Funeral Home at 262 E Main Street, Mt. Kisco NY 10549, 914-666-5891 viewing will be on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 4 pm till 8 pm. funeral mass will be at St Francis of Assisi on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 10 am In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or the American Parkinson Disease Association
