Obituary of Libby Anita Dickerson

Please share a memory of Libby to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Libby was born on January 17, 1947 in Newburgh, New York. She was preceded in death by Dolores Polk (Mother), Harold Dudley (Father), Harold Dudley Jr. (Brother). She is survived by her sister Vickie Glenn, her 2 sons Terrence (wife Latonia), Jack (wife Lydia) and her 5 nephews:  Michael, Ashanti, Walter, Shannon and Harold and 7 grandchildren:  Jackee, Dominique, Jalen, Tayson, Miles, Aeneas and Kameron and host of cousins and devoted friends.

She enjoyed a career working for White Plains Hospital Center as a Laboratory Technician and at Yonkers Residential Center as a Substance Abuse Counselor.

Libby was a messenger of love and lived her life accordingly. She loved God and enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her grandkids. She had a love of shopping and never saw a hat or a piece of jewelry she didn’t like.

She was a source of strength, the backbone of her family and will be missed by all that knew her.

Libby Antia Dickerson departed from this life, on Wednesday  January 19, 2022, at St John’s hospital.
