Fay Tirone, a lifelong resident of Yonkers, NY, passed away on January 19, 2022. She was 89 years old. Fay was born on August 3, 1932 to Vincenzo Mignano and Rose Rosato. She was an avid swimmer, card player, chess player, and traveler. She started a local clothing boutique, JoFay's, with her sister Josephine. Fay belonged to the Rosary Altar Society of St. Bartholomew Church in Yonkers. She was also an active member of the Bryn Mawr Senior Center. Beloved wife to Richard Tirone, deceased. Loving mother to Janet (Dr. Larry Moy), Richard (Theresa) Tirone Jr., and Anthony (Joann) Tirone. Cherished grandmother to Amy (Peter James), Jeffrey (Edilaine) Moy, Dr. Gregory (Alexandra) Moy, Samantha Tirone and Amanda Tirone. Adored great grandmother to Matthew James, Nicholas James and Leila James. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Bartholomew Church, Yonkers NY in the spring.
