Maria Theresa (Vasta) Ganzi of Yonkers, NY passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 28, 2022 at the age of 94. Maria was born in Cisternino Italy on February 11,1928 to Giacomo & MariaLuigia Vasta. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Dominic Ganzi in 1997. And also her brothers Domenico, Franco, Donato, Emanuele and sisters Domenica & Pasqualina. She leaves behind her son Giacomo (James) Ganzi his partner MaryJane D'Angelo and two loving grandchildren Trevor Ganzi of Ossining, NY and Tori Ganzi of Miami, Florida.
Maria loved her long walks, she enjoyed going to church and singing in the choir. She volunteered at St Joseph's Hospital and Nursing Home for over 45 years. She always wanted to help others in any kind of way. She had a heart of gold.
