Enjoyed my chats with Sonny quarterly, always checking in on him, especially on his birthday, June 13th.
He was a special person to my wife and me, as well as my children. When we arrived at the shore on LBI, we immediately looked across the street to see if Anna and Sonny were on the porch and would go over to say hello. Saturday nights were card nights in their kitchen, where we had many memorable laughs. Sonny and I would go get zeppoles and, occasionally we went for clams Anna to make his special dish, linguine with white clam sauce.
Sonny, you will be missed and have been in my nightly prayers, along with Anna.
