When we were working the BVES Book Fair Tara always would make us laugh! She would stroll in and tell us that she stopped at the gas station for “breakfast.” We would all look at her intrigued and she would say “yea I got a roll with butter” and I would say, “at the gas station they call that MUTTER!” And from then on we would always joke about Tara getting her roll with mutter! She always was such a delight and always would welcome us with that big bright smile and I am going to truly miss her!! I am here for all of you and will always be!!! Love you all!

I want to start off by saying a deep and warm ‘my condolences’ to the entire family who is grieving. Tara was an incredibly loving, kind, and funny woman. She was always smiling and always so vibrant. Tara and I had many conversations on the go, random little meet ups whenever our paths crossed in town. I will miss that. I feel blessed to have endured her laughter, her love, her welcoming hugs and her accepting heart. Tara will always be remembered and carried on in the hearts of so many as she is unforgettable and madly loved. Thank you for sharing this beautiful Angel with us all, so much healing and hope is sent to the entire family at this time and for always.

I was privledged to work with Tara and observe all of the wonderful, caring and kind interactions she had with the children in her class. She loved them like her own and they became a family. It is not often you see a teacher who treats every child so lovingly and especially y the ones who need it the most. I will miss Tara and our conversations about life and family. Prayers and Hugs to her family. ❤️

Tara was the most genuine and kind woman I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I knew if we had a conversation it would be a heart to heart and I cherished every get together I had with her. She was a wonderful mom and a great woman. Love to all of the Beninati’s. I’m heartbroken to hear of her passing. - sue Klein

My sweet cousin, Tara, there is so much to say. You were so loved, by so many, and all who knew you appreciated your down to earth ways. My heart is broken upon learning of this news. You will always be remembered for your kind and compassionate ways. I loved sharing family holidays with you as children and young adults. We never had trouble laughing ourselves into oblivion and finding the humor in the most mundane topics to entertain ourselves for hours. Those days of gathering around the kitchen island at Mill Spring Road are so deeply etched into my soul. Your smile, your laugh, your intelligence and wit made you so easy to be around. While the last decade seems to have flown by with us seeing each other no more than a handful of times, the thought of you will always make me smile. I always thought we’d grow old and somehow get back around someone’s kitchen island reminiscing about the good old days while our future grandkids would run amok. There is no silver-lining here but seeing your kids, is like seeing you, which is the best thought I can muster up right now. We will never forget you and should we ever all find our way around a kitchen island again, we will make sure to raise a glass in your memory. Godspeed Tara. Until we meet again around the kitchen island in the sky.

I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Tara's passing. Tara was a wonderful mom and a kind lady. I have the best memories with Tara from our days of raising our boys together and volunteering at BVES and FLMS. She was down to earth and genuine. I am honored to have spent so much time with her back then as we were watching our children grow. We also spent countless hours at the BV Town Pool together as our kids played all day long. Tara's home was the first at which my son, Christopher, had a sleepover as a very young boy. He thought the world of her. This is a tremendous loss to all who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing her. She will be forever etched in my mind and heart, and she will be greatly missed. My words here and my thoughts and prayers are not enough, but I nevertheless extend them to all of your family.
With deepest sympathy,
Tomianne Maggio (Christopher Maggio's mother)
